Binder Park Zoo Photography Event w/Lion Training behind the scenes-October 15th 10am sharp

The Binder Park trip is scheduled for October 15th at 10am sharp. The zoo is 2hours from the Grand Blanc Area.  All members who are interested in going need to go online, order your admission ticket and the additional ticket to the lion encounter.  Costs are as follows:

Senior Citizen entrance cost 16.75

General Admission- 18.75

Parking 3.50 per vehicle

Lion training encounter- 10.00

a surcharge of 1.5% is applied to all credit card purchases

I gave them a number of between 10-12 of us based on earlier interest.  As of today, there are 30 tickets available for the lion encounter, but it sell out fast.  My recommendation is you buy your ticket today if you are interested in the behind the scenes training session.t

I have not visited the historic bridge park in Battle Creek but it looks like worth considering after the zoo. See attached brochure.

I am a go and just purchased the Lions, general and parking online.

Since we are unable to go with the club, we went last Friday and were glad we went. Be sure to go inside the carousel building, the attendant was friendly and since it wasn’t busy let us in to photograph with the carousel stationary.

I stopped here on Friday after the zoo. I wouldn’t make a trip to just to see the bridges only but if you are in the area it’s worth a visit.
