As a past member of the Flint Lensmen, I decided to rejoin and it is still interesting . I built my first photos lab during WWII, Was a US Navy Aerial and Combat photographer. My skills were using during my 32 years as a General Motors Engineer and manager. Then, after retirement my new wife and I spent 15 years wearing out three RVs touring the Lower 48. We have written five books and have really enjoyed life. But, alas, we just got OLD !
HI. I'm returning to photography as a hobby after a few years absence. I'm a transplant - and since moving to Mich I've been fascinated by the Great Lakes shipping and lights. I've been playing with HDR to help restore the WOW to my shots. I haven't created anything wild yet - going only so far to change some fall photos to make them look painted. It is an acquired taste....
I've started a photo blog (http://kurtsfotos.blogspot.com/) where I put most of my 'good' shots, plus some blasts from the past.
I'm looking forward to meeting everyone.
