This club was founded in 1946. present members are comprised of amateurs, professionals and everything in between.
The Flint Lensmen Camera Club meets on the 2nd & 4th Thursdays of each month September through May, unless otherwise announced. Occasionlly we meet at other times for field trips, lessons, get-togethers, etc. Our regular meetings are held at Armstrong Middle School located at 6161 Hopkins Road in Flint. We meet from 6:30 - 8:30pm.
*Note: if the weather is bad, check the radio and/or TV for school closings. We will not have a meeting if schools are closed.

The Lensmen are on their summer break. Regular meetings will start back up in September. Members feel free to utilize the website. Non-members can visit and contact us through the website.
But only paid members of the club can post photos.

***Photographers' Opportunities: Four of our members participated in the Crim Run Your Ice Off on Saturday, February 22. Photos that were taken by the group can be seen at this link: https://www.facebook.com/crimfitnessfoundation
All of our members will have a chance to participate as photographers of the Crim festival of races August 22 and 23 and at four other Crim events throughout the year.

January : Repeating shapes
February : Abstracts
March : Machinery
April : Abandoned
May : Farms
Print competition criteria: You can enter up to two prints in each of the following three categories in the Color Division: Open, Subject, Nature; and up to two prints in the same three categories in the Monochrome (black & white) Division for a possible total of twelve prints. Any 'manipulated' photos should be entered in the Open category.
Prints should be mounted using the following sized mount boards only: 5x7, 8x10, 11x14 or 16x20. They can be matted, but not framed.
There can not be any identifying name, etc visible on the front of the entry - all maker's info goes on the back.
