December Photo Subject "Lookin Up"

December January

Dec/Jan 2022/23

Note from the President of the FLCC.

Hi All

December photos of the monthly subject are above. January brings the challenge of new training, discussions and adventures to take to improve everyone's skills.

Will have several interesting monthly photo challenges this year to keep things exciting and help everyone in their learning experiences.

An "Our Community" photo challenge will be something of interest and will probably be a season long project.

Hopefully a trip to a Nature Reserve on Saginaw Bay or local parks/nature areas may be able to  happen. (Great opportunity for bird [eagles, cranes], deer, marsh animal and landscape photos.) Anyone is invited to go, Member or visitor. For information please contact the club through the email right side of this page.

Dues for the 22 season need to be caught up if you haven't yet paid. For those that have not been able to attend, please make arrangements to take care of this. Preferably come to the next held meeting.  Remember dues were lowered to just $20 a year.

Stay healthy and safe.

We no longer have a monthly competition. It is a photo improvement review with  suggestions and input. It allows members to see the creativeness of other members and to question and learn new technics and methods of taking as well as editing their own photos. Members are ask to bring their photos on a thumb drive to the 2nd meeting of the month (3rd Thurs), they are loaded to the club laptop for viewing. Photos need to be grouped together by categories for ease of loading to computer. Each member is encouraged to elaborate on their photos but not required ( what inspired them to take the photo, where, when why & how. Any special editing or procedures used to take the photo). And ask for or share tips for improving theirs and other members photos as well.
