Event Description

In the planning stages. Weather permitting. Stay tuned for updated information. Time may change. Sun Rises across the bay so best light to photograph back into the marsh from shore is morning. If cloudy, best time to photograph is mid to late afternoon. More activity then. So still up in the air. Give your suggestion on time in comments.
This is an opportunity to see more than imaginable numbers of migrating birds along with locals such as eagles and hawks. We will start at the viewing platform and after some time there will head across the dike to what I call a key. Separated from the main land by flooded cat tail marsh and some open water areas. The key consist of sand beaches, wooded and grass areas. There are trails to follow while scouting for birds and other 4 legged creatures to photograph or just enjoy. This is a major stopping off point for migrating birds. Along the shores of Saginaw Bay.
April is a great time to visit since many of the species are looking for mates or courting existing mates. Great shows to see.
This event will be open to all. Anyone can join us. Photographer or just Bird Watcher.
I will post some of my previous visit photos on the Facebook site.
